Dillon holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. He offers a warm and caring approach to counselling that focusses on building a strong relationship and safe environment, which is vital to growth and healing. Dillon takes a person-centered approach to counselling that allows individuals to recognize and maintain their values while focusing on accepting their authentic selves.
Dillon has experience and comfort working with a wide range of clients aged 11 and older and provides individual and couples counselling services.
He recognizes the importance of collaborating with clients to determine the best treatment options and takes a strength-based approach to applying Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, ACT, Gestalt, Gottman, EFT, and Narrative therapies. Dillon is confident working with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and takes an approach of humility and curiosity that empowers clients to be the experts of their own lives.
Areas of Focus: Dillon works with a wide range of concerns and aims to focus on one’s unique experience. Common areas of his focus include depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, sexual and gender identity, relationships, stress management, and trauma.
